Golf Tourney Pros is a unique event planning group. Our approach is different than any other tournament experience. The Golf Tourney Pros tournament experience is not limited to the traditional pay-for-play approach. It is a team based model that incorporates peer to peer fundraising, instruction, team building and training.
Historically, most charity golf tournaments utilize a best ball/scramble format where individual players pay a registration fee to participate. In order to maximize the amount of money raised, additional fees are sought by way of corporate sponsorships. There are several challenges with this existing format:
-
Corporate sponsors are often approached by a multitude of charitable organizations wanting to secure support.
-
Tournaments can be viewed as somewhat intimidating, which can discourage players who do not have golf experience to participate.
-
Most tournaments do not have a structure to teach participants how to golf
Golf Tourney Pros works with charity organizations to find the best fit for your event. We customize our approach for each client. Here is a simple breakdown of our options:
Pay to Play - Players pay total fee and participate in tournament
Pay to Play + Peer to Peer - Players commit to raising funds by setting up their own individual fundraising pages.
Pay to Play + Peer to Peer + Training/Incentive - Players commit to raising funds by setting up their own individual fundraising pages. Incentives are added to player goals (training or player rewards).
