We hope that you choose Golf Drone Pros.   But if you do have a competitor that is offering ANY service, we recommend you find out the following before booking with someone else:

  • Ask how they will collect the money.  If they offer to have one of their staff collect money, DON'T DO IT!   â€‹You should always have one of your staff/volunteers collect money to ensure you receive the percentage you were promised and the players are not "strong-armed" into purchasing their service
  • The goal should be for the profits from your drone ball drop (or other service) go into YOUR POCKET
  • Do they provide the proper licensing and insurance?  They should provide you with a Certificate of Insurance naming both your organization and the course PRIOR to the event.
  • ANYONE who collects money through their business to fly a drone must have a commercial pilot license.  Commercial drone operators must also have their license on their person when operating the drone.  You should always ask for their FAA # in advance and verify that the organization you hire is using a commercial drone pilot with a valid license.  You can verify licenses through this link:  https://amsrvs.registry.faa.gov/airmeninquiry/
  • Commercial drones must also be registered with the FAA and the number clearly visible on the actual drone.
